Junior Frontend Engineer

About the role
This is an opportunity for an early-career engineer to grow into a strong product-focused frontend developer. You will pair with senior engineers and designers to build interfaces that are fast, accessible and delightful. We invest heavily in code review and mentorship — expect to learn a lot in your first year.
What you'll do
- Implement UI components and pages from Figma designs using React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS.
- Wire front-end components to REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Ensure responsiveness, accessibility (WCAG AA) and cross-browser consistency.
- Participate in code reviews and internal knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Learn our engineering standards for testing, CI/CD and observability.
What we're looking for
- 0–2 years of professional or serious project experience with modern frontend development.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and at least one component-based framework (React preferred).
- Basic understanding of Git, package managers and web performance.
- Curiosity, humility, and enthusiasm for learning.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- Personal projects or open-source contributions on GitHub.
- Exposure to TypeScript, Tailwind CSS or design systems.
- Interest in AI-powered user experiences.
